Design And Realization Of Urban Planning And Construction Management Information System Prototype Software For Small Town

In the trend of global informalization, the informalization construction of small town is definitely becoming more and more important. As to the management activities in small town, the planning and construction management is probably the most important one. Therefore, the research on planning and construction management information system for small town (PCMIS) is in great demands.First, the paper reviewed the domestic and foreign relative research and practices so as to clarify the importance and feasibility of PCMIS for small town. Second, the overall function of PCMIS was designed. With the support of ComGIS, the prototype of PCMIS was implemented. Finally, some experience of system development was summed up, and the shortcoming of PCMIS was pointed out.The implementation of planning and construction management information system for small town is the main content of small town's informalization. During the process of the system development, advanced technologies have been applied to the small town, which means not only the renovation of management in small town, but also the innovative concept of the planning and construction management.
