Campus Public Security Information Management System Based On ASP

Campus public security information management system plays an important role in keeping the securies of campus,what it performs will immediately influence the smoothness of student public security supervisory work . Therefore, the sufficient information resource, the convenient and efficient functions are the major contents of student public security management.At present,people use the traditional way—laboral management combianning with electron form management to carry on the public security management,this kind of administration has many disadvantages,such as:low efficiency,bad confidence,small capacity of electron form,fewer relatedness,uneasy to inquire from,necessity of renewal and maintenance and so on.Security office plays the main role in keeping the security of one school, information about the teachers and students is put away here, the office is responsible for the management information statistics.nowadays, some public security managements are realized thorugh using computer recently,while some don't utilize it yet.According to the investigation, the major way for information management is based on paper and manual processing;the rechecking and recording of puclic security information stuation(like:basic information of students, rewards and punishment situation and public security notice)is carried on by recording the information when they registered;the managing and searching of students'public security information is carried on by manual work.The amount of work for information processing is big,and it is so easy to make mistake for people.Because of the large number of information,the information is easy missing.The above mentioned will cause difficulties in searching the information of the students who registered long before.Basing on these problems,I think that it is necessary to establish a comprehensive student public security managementSystem which could keep standardization,systematization,sequencing of public security work,thus,could avoid capriciousness of student public security management and enhance the speed and accuracy of information processing.This public security management system could help people search and revise the public security information promptly,efficiently and accurately.Using computer to manage the public security information is better than mannual administration.For example:searching rapidly,high reliability,big reserves,good confidence,long life,lower cost and so on.All of these merits enhance the efficiency of public security information management.Using computer to manage the public security information is also a scientific and standardized way to manage public security information.In the early times of computer technology development—DOStime, the application procedure which develops is belongs to the single structure,and the entire structure of software only has one system.When windows system is popular with people, c/s(client/server)—the frame is suggested then.The aplication of client is responsible for demonstrating the page and transmitting the datas,the server is responsible for processing all kinds of logic duties and undertaking complex computing duty.The two kinds of systems have achieved the computing separately to some extent besides some obvious disadvantages:the inventor needs to maintain each client once the aplication producer needs to promote,all the ends need to be revised,and different versions of clients will have different requests from server,thus in certain circumstances they will cause the unusuality of the server procedure.With the rapid development of internet technology,the browser as a client B/S(browser/servicer)architecture shows great advantage:only browser could help client complete all the work.If we want to upgrate and transforme the application procedure,we should only need to amend server,thus greatly enhance the maintainality of the application system.Use B/S(browser/server model) to help us to develop systems.B/S model,with the develoment of internet technology ,is the change or improvement of C/S structure.In such structure,the user interface is realized through the work ofWWW,few of the businesses logic are realized by browser,the main businesses logic are realized by server .Thus could lower the load of client computer ,reduce the work load of system maintenance and upgrading cost, therefore,it also reduces the total cost of user. B/S structure's greatest strengths is that we can operate in any place and do not need install any special software.We only need a computer that help us to surf online without worring the maintenance of client.System expansion is very easy,as long as the computer could connect with internet,we could load in the system by the name and password assigned by administrator.Even if the application is appropriate data,the results will not be exact,that's because nobody could understand the uses of data.This current situation is a challenge to the management of data,such challenges could provide a new approach for applicating datas and better understanding of the needs for data management.Establishing students infromation database by the use of computer,could help people with rapid entry,adding information,sorting information,deleting information,searching information and so on.We also could put the photos and the basic information together,even we also could connect the basic information of students with theirs family information and student security database function.Therefore,if we want to load in this system,what we should have is a password.Thus at one hand,ensures the confidentiality of the system,at the other hand,it is also a tool which could help us to save decision making time and monitor the students.With the continuous improvement of science and technology,computer science is reaching maturity,we have recognized the great function of it.Computer science has entered all fields of human society,and will play more and more important role.As a part of computer application,the use of computer on student information management is more convenient than manual way on managing student information, like:easy searching,high reliability,big storage,confidential,low cost,these advantages could greatly improve the efficiency of managing the student security information.They are also the qualities as a scitific and standardized management.This system is arranged by ASP, so it has many advantages comparing with other developing systems.ASP expertises in establishing database is particularly conspicuous among it's so many advantages: from the browser / server model to the multi-storey structure of the data model; from efficient database management system to a new generation of more advanced database engine; from the latest analytical tools to a large number of enterprise components.The major objective ofASP design is to provide a more convient and effective mean of dynamic web editing,then it also could enhance the independence,compatibility,and reusability of web application.Campus public security information management system uses Microsoft's IIS 5.0 as server.If we use the operating system that before Windows2000,adding IIS5.0 server is easy.We only need to open the option"Add/Remove"inside the"control panel"and select"Add/Remove windows components",then select the pop—up dialogue box "Internet Information Services (IIS) option,"finally install the program according to the instructions. Openning IIS server, we can access to Web root directory, clicking the right mouse button, selecting "Properties" command, the properties of the pop-up dialog box in Figure 4-2, finally we could create ASP applications in the application settings with the name web root directory.That's the ASP application we established.Therefore,we could find so mang advantages after debugging this system:easy operating,high universality,easy searching,enough security and reliability.
