The Analysis And Design Of Distribution Resource Planning Information System For Clothing And Shoe-making Enterprises

With the development of science and technology, information technology has been widely used in the enterprise management. DRP stands for Distribution Resource Planning, which is the information management system for distribution information in enterprises. The emergence and development of DRP is based on the development of both management theory and modern computer science. Since the mid-1990s, the management theory comes into the era of supply chain management theory. Based on the ERP that has been matured for integrating existing internal information resources for enterprises, DRP focusing the integration of both internal and external information resources emerged. At the same time, with the development of Internet technology, enterprise information management system has undergone a change from traditional C/S architecture to modern web-based B/S architecture. Technology revolution meets the needs of DRP's features based on distributed, multi-level and multi-agency management, and greatly promotes the emergence of DRP and its wide application.This thesis is finished by author during the period of studying and participating the information management system construction of a large number of clothing and shoe-making enterprises in Quanzhou city, Fujian province. In Quazhou city where clothing and shoe-making has been the main industry, many enterprises have experienced the process from small-scale factory to large enterprise which widely uses the production lines, and finally become chain company with well-known brands.The rapid growth of enterprises and their management model force their managers demand new information management system. Especially for those brand chain enterprises, how to manage more and more branches distributed throughout the country, how to collect branches' real-time sales information, have been big issues.DRP meets the needs of these enterprises, giving a strong supporting for clothing and shoe-making enterprises' further development.The thesis first analyzes the background and research significance of this subject, and then introduces the feature requirements of DRP for clothing and shoe-making enterprises. After that, the thesis explains the basic design principles and technology roadmap of system construction. Furthermore, the implementation of system design has been explained. The final part of this thesis is the summary of works that has been done and the planning for the future works.
