As a mechatronic system, design of large antenna is depended on structure, electromagnetic field, servo control and manufacturing technology. Established a unified platform of cooperative design, and provided a unified design environment for designers participating in large antenna design. The designers can fully discuss and cooperate to design tasks in the environment and deliberate all kinds of problems which met in the process of design, avoided design rework for inadequacy communication, so as to improve research capacity, shorten research cycle, and decrease research cost.In this paper, collaborative design in lager antenna structure was studied. In the first, the main idea and domestic-overseas present status of collaborative design are described. Analyses the tradition design's deficiency of lager antenna, and in the foundations, design the general scheme of large antenna cooperate design in detail. In the second, with the related data of large antenna structure design, set up a database system based on product data management, and twice develop with bottom technology in windchill8.0, customized develop a set of PDM system of large antenna collaborative design to implement project management, authority management, access control, project change control, workflow management and virtue meeting management.
