| This paper begin with the principle of AB power amplifier, introduced the design method of Class AB power amplifier: large signal S parameters, humorous balance, and so on. Analyzed the principle all kinds of power dividers/combiners and the effecting factors in power combiners. Finally introduced the design of an L band large power solid state amplifier module perfectly, including the design of power combiner, amplifier circuits, structure design, thermal design and EMC design etc. That can implement a pure solid transmitter's failure orientation through electrical source control, failure check, heat protects and those alarm messages. This technique can achieve replace every replaceable cell online. That cut the service time greatly. The developed discreteness worked on L band. Its output power was larger than 350W, time occupied ratio was 12.5%, efficiency exceeded 30%. |
