Buildings in modern city are becoming higher and higher, denser and denser. Among most of the buildings the frameworks are armoured concrete, the outside fitments are occluded. Radio signal of mobile communication is enervated heavily in business areas, restaurants, hotels, tunnels and subway stations because of the bar of the buildings. The problem that mobile communication users in these areas can hardly communicate appears, followed the complaints from these users. To solve this problem, the best way is to build indoor coverage system.Now, the conventional indoor coverage nets built by operators are separated into different systems, when adding new radio net signal coverage as 3G,WLAN etc., a new suit of antenna feed line system must be rebuild. The extensibility of the conventional indoor coverage nets is poor.This study starts from improving network quality, saving investment cost, shorting building period, clearing system interference, running more than one systems on the same net. It finds a uscable technical proposal that is suitable for the practical situation in our country and is able to spread ---- Mulriple Indoor Coverage.This paper will first introduce the history of mobile communication, the relative concepts of the indoor coverage, the actuality of indoor coverage in our country, the actuality of mulriple indoor coverage at home and abroad, the theory to realization and discussion on dependability of mulriple indoor coverage. Then it will introduce the differences between the mulriple indoor coverage and the conventional indoor coverage in order to fully bear out the superiority of the mulriple indoor coverage in project cost and period and foresee the development of mulriple indoor coverage. At last, by using an engineering example, the paper will point out the methods of designing and carrying out the mulriple indoor coverage system as well as the testing methods, all of which will build a solid foundation for familiar study.
