The charm of 3G is high-speed data and multimedia services, and video telephony, video streaming, gaming and other high-speed data services are usually occurred in a comfortable indoor environment, these business functions require a large network of system capacity and good quality. For the operators, the extensive use of indoor coverage system can compete for the indoor telephone traffic. Indoor coverage can also be used to disperse the pressure over the network density areas, dense urban settlement covering high-end users, reduce the number of outdoor base stations and configured to reduce the overall interference level outside the network, thereby enhancing the capacity of the entire system to better meet user quality requirements, the performance is good or bad will have a direct impact on the operator's customer experience and revenue, is the key factor for success.This thesis studies the technology of indoor coverage.The main way to solve indoor coverage is to build indoor coverage distribution system. The basic principles of indoor distribution system is to outdoor signal through wire introduced into the room, then through a small antenna to send out the signal so as to enhance the level of indoor coverage. TD-SCDMA is one of the three 3G mainstream technology. TD-SCDMA indoor distribution system is one of the major construction of the TD-SCDMA entire network. In this thesis, the TD-SCDMA indoor coverage system planning and design requirements are analyzed, and the TD-SCDMA indoor coverage of commonly used network solutions is given. From some engineering experiences, analysis of TD-SCDMA indoor distributed system design characteristics, the various typical scene realization methods are studied. Combining with the concrete case, some methods and techniques are summarized.
