Propagation Model Algorithm And Tuning Of The Third Generation Mobile Communicationsystem

Network programming is becoming hot for research under the rapid development of 3G in nowadays. The network planing determines the structure of network to a great extent and is critical to network investment and service quality. It is the foundation to network development, while the network quality is the most important to network planing. Signal quality is a key factor to measure the network planing, which is mainly determined by the condition of transmission between transmitter and receiver. Path loss is the key index to reflect the condition of transmission, and the wireless propagation model is an effective tool to forecast the path loss. In another word, propagation model tuning is the basis of 3G wireless network planing. The accuracy of propagation model is related to a rational sector planing and the operator's economical investment rationally and still satisfies the customers. Now the model tuning is mainly completed by computer software, so firstly the article introduces two algorithm of map layer which is point-to-point analysis Method and ray Method. Then it recommends some propagation models that are used widely. It also provides the detail research and explanation of the algorithm and value to parameters of these models, and the further research of the method of least square and the linearity regression method in the 3G wireless network propagation and calculate process of model rectification. The article also presents the process of propagation model rectification in reality which including tools preparation, route selection, data collection and data processing. Lastly by comparing the wireless transmit loss measured on-site with that simulated by computer, it proves that the arithmetic recommended by this article has the fairly good function. Rectify the propagation model by software is able to reflect a true wireless propagation environment and provide accurate basis to 3G network planing.
