| The visual inspection technology, which can extraordinarily reduce the inspection cost, greatly speed up development process and raise the efficiency of production, or apply in some fields that is not suitable for human to work, has become a hot topic in the industrial online inspection recently, so it has become much more popular.In this paper, an orifice-orientation system is developed; it is based on the machine vision technology, illumination simulation and image process method. The main research includes:According to the request of the P-type orifice orientation and the feature of machine vision system, an orifice orientation system is designed by using the technique of image acquisition, display, processing and analysis. The system development mainly includes the structure design, the configuration of the hardware, image processing, illumination simulation and design of the software. This paper has solved a series of key problems in the process of development which covers: the setting of the image acquisition system, the design of the illumination system, the research of the image processing method and image segmentation. By the theoretical analysis and experimental test, the image processing procedure of the system has been designed, which include pretreatment, threshold, image segmentation, geometry characteristic analysis, etc. The process and measurement of images are all accomplished by using the powerful image processing software IMAQ Vision.Take LabVIEW as the development platform, a human-computer interface for the system is designed. The success of the vision detection system raised the flexibility and automation degree of the production. It is applicable to large quantity production as the efficiency is high and the function, the capability, the reliability target accord with the design requirements completely. |
