LED panel display, as a new high technology product, has attracted more and more attention. It has some unique advantages of brilliant color, widely dynamic range, high brightness, long lifetime and stable performance and has applied in many occasions such as advertisement, securities, information dissemination, news issue, etc. With the progress of full-color LED panel display technology, the market of LED panel display has a bright future.The paper's research object is full-color LED panel synchronous control system. In this paper, author gives a solution of the system. The whole system includes three parts: DVI decode circuit, transmitting part and receiving part. DVI decode circuit receives data from DVI interface of display card, and decodes it by T.M.D.S protocol, then output RGB data and control signal for LED panel displaying. Transmitting part receives RGB data, processes it and then transmits to Ethernet. Receiving part receives data from Ethernet, converts it by bit-separate operation and serially output to LED panel for display.In this design, author choose programmable logic device to develop the system. Programmable logic device has advantages of high integration, high speed, ISP, etc. It can meet the requirement of high-speed image data processing, make the design more flexible, shorten design cycle and can upgrade online for future.
