The Scan Algorithm Of LED Panel

From 1990s last century, with the technology development of LED panel, the LED panel has been being implemented in every area of day life. The LED panel developed through monochrome, gray-scaled, and now to the era of full color and highly consistency. The design parameters of LED panel are different from each other, but the selections of these parameters are not random, but regular and methodical.The article introduces the general knowledge, frame and principle of LED panel system, put up the concept of scan algorithm. Based on one contracture of LED panel, the paper discusses the relation among these parameters such as shift clock and lighting efficiency. And it also put forward the principle of panel division, the formula of signal timing, and the requirement of capacity and speed of frame cache. The article discusses the feasibility of software scan, and the method to get the parameters. Also, it explains the reason about flicker, and concludes that separate-gray-scale scan does better than sequential-gray-scale scan, and row-precedence scan does better than gray-scale- precedence scan. At last it tells the design procedures of scan logic of LED panel using this algorithm.
