Infrared image technology has been proved to bean revolutionary incident for its wide applications in many areas, such as military, medicine and sciencetc, IR detectoris especially uncooled IR detectoris had being paid more attention for its high reliability, low cost, small sige, low power and ease took.This paper is related with the research of MEMS uncooled infrared image system. The MEMS-based infrared detector and optic-readout-based uncooled infrared imaging technology are studied. in order to match this study ,we develop a system of infrared image real-time processing based on DM642 and introduce in detail the image video signal gathering module, processing module and video display module. To introduce the hardware, software and the image processing algorithm for usuall use. We use the high function video encode chip SAA7121H and TI compion's TMS320DM642 chip for the main digital singal process chip, TMS320DM642 is the exclusive used chip for digital medium has 32-bit fixed-pointDSP. In the end we use this system to collect iamge, subtact background processing and then have a real-time display, the result reach the ideal system we expect. So the system for infrared image processing has got the good effect.
