At present, the actuality of the research for enterprise Work-Flow technology can't satisfy the development of enterprise business effectively. Along the way of theory--practice, the research of work-flow technology is develop on the rise way. As the development of internet and the technology of cooperative of computer, deeply researching on work-flow theory and technology is putted forward. Nowadays the concept of MDS (Model-Driven System) is been produced, which is becoming the hottest research area.Enterprise process engineering is a subject which research on the development and enactment of enterprise process with the methodology of system engineering. It includes four phrases: process definition, simulation, optimization and enactment. Work-flow technique is a kind of supporting technique for enterprise process engineering.This article analyzes the existing work-flow theory and technology, and discusses the thinking of model-driven and the process integration technology. Then it described that the Model Driven System is the absolute trend of the development of Work-flow. This article introduces the model driven from two ways: theory and practice.In the aspect of theory, it gives the thinking of model-driven, and gives the architecture of system based on the existing technology and theory of work-flow. It depicts the all process of Model-driven. The process can be summarized as the real Work-flow system containing the idea of model-driven, which solves the problem of integration of enterprise system. In the architecture of model-drive system, this article also introduces the concept of EASS (Enterprise Access Service Sets), which is used to collect the whole active information used for system. This article improves the architecture of traditional work-flow engine and uses it for building the expected system architecture of enterprise system based on the model-drive thinking.In the aspect of practice, an integrative imitation process of system is presented, which demonstrates the validity of thinking of Model-driven. The presented system is just a simulation prototype, which can not be used for real work, because there are some actual problems need to be research, the technologies is also need to be improved.In sum, this article describes the thinking of model-driven from the theory to practice. It keeps in mind of the whole architecture of model-driven system, which is instructive for further research and apply of model-driven system.
