With the rapid development of information technology and the formation of integration in the global economic, fierce competition among enterprises makes every enterprise facing serious challenge. As an enterprise management system that reflects modern management ideology, ERP has become the best choice for informatization of many enterprises. However, there are a series of shortcomings during the ERP development and implementation process, such as long period, high cost and risk,etc. In order to meet the needs of ERP development and implementation process, some work has been done in this paper as follows:First of all, on the basis of introducing the principles and development process of Model Driven Architecture, a MDA-based ERP rapid development and implementation mode was deeply researched and elaborated, including rapid development method and rapid implementation method of ERP. Then, an ERP rapid prototyping system and its effect were introduced concisely.Secondly, the software component model and its management method were researched in this paper. On the basis of introducing the elements constitution of software component model, the graded characteristics and the structure of software component model repository, a classification method of software component model was proposed, and a fuzzy search algorithm was used to find software component model.Thirdly, a workflow-based ERP rapid prototyping method was discessed in depth, including the enterprise business model, workflow model, software component model, elements mapping between enterprise business model and workflow model and configuration method between workflow model and software component model. A theoretical basis and guiding method was provided for developing ERP rapid prototyping system by this method.Finally, MDA-based ERP rapid prototyping system was developed in this paper, and a case was used to verify the validity of this system. A theoretical guidance and a supporting tool are provided in the results of this study for accelerating the ERP development and implementation process, which has some theoretical significance and practical values.
