The integrate service terminal is a new type service terminal that based on HFC network and provide services such as IP telephone,data transmission and so on.As a custom terminal system, the integrate service terminal must have both a upstanding hardware platform and a definite software system. The midware system is the software platform of the integrate service terminal, it separate the superstratum software from the bottom software based on the definite hardware (namely, the inner operating system OS) so as to make the application software independent on the definite platform.。the midware system is also the core of the system software, it provide inception currency operation and function of the digital television, such as to explain the transmission stream and the communication protocol,to manage the application that play the audio and video stream,to manage the images and so on. The interactive technology discussed in this paper is based on the midware system.The midware standard provide uniform criterion for the inception device production and the interactive television application development. The Chinese digital television midware standard mainly use the MHP standard for reference, use its elite and remove its redundancy, and build a interactive media board (IMB) technique standard. Based on the research of the midware standard, this program choose the Java language as the developing language of the midware, and build a Java developing platform on LINUX system, and realize the mode function by Java.The paper discusses the realization of the interactive technology on the integrate service terminal, which is, the user run the local ITV terminal (the digital television/ Set-Top-Box) or interact with the remote server. The running mode of the interactive technology could be divided to two parts: the partial interaction and remote interaction ,the partial interactive mode is to demultoplex and decode and store the broadcast data in the digital television(terminal),and the user only has to do interactive application on the local data and applications; the remote interactive mode means that the user has to do interactive applications by accessing the data and applications on the remote server using the interactive information path.The author emphasizes the design and the implementation of the two modules , which is :the partial interactive module and the remote interactive module. The partial interactive module which deals with local information, such as the analysis and the disposal of the EPG information ,by defining the data types , the paper gives a way to handle the EPG information ,which makes it be stored and searched in different sorts ,and shared through the Linux memory manage mechanism .The remote interaction is to realize functions like to dispatch and receive the E-mail by exchanging message with the remote terminal or server through the network, by the use of embedden TCP/IP protocol and socket programming.Finnaly, on the basis of the according research above,the paper completes the programming and debugging of the application and achieved the function expected. |
