| With ISA-interactive services architecture, the US corporation Time Warner has unified the functional interfaces among the interactive system operating modules, in order to maximize benefits of cable TV service providers and reduce the bad influences to the interactive systems brought by device upgrading/replacing processes as much as possible. This paper, according to the ISA-interactive services architecture, based on current BGCTV's network, has designed a complete interactive digital TV system, which includes Cable TV frontend interactive system module architecture, Functional design of different modules, and the protocol/ workflow for communication between terminal STB and frontend interactive VOD system. |
