Research Of Realization Technology For Receiver Of Digital Television Terrestrial Broadcasting

Since the emerging of television broadcasting, TV techniques have experienced great development. This developing was even faster since the 1990s, when electronic, computer, communication and network technologies reached their high expanding era. The evolution to DTV has lead to a big trend in the whole world to study DTV mode, establish DTV standards, develop DTV facilities, and commercialize it.China has also given great attention to this technology, and has set up the generalizing agenda, commenced Cable Digital Television Broadcasting in 2003, Terrestrial Digital Television Broadcasting in 2005; China is now planning to suspend the PAL analog Television Broadcasting in 2015.In August 2006, China finally set up its national Terrestrial Digital Television Broadcasting standard, which will become the most general mode for media, and further have great impact to people's life.This article is divided into two parts: First, I will summarize up to date research within DTV and its standard; Second, I will present my research of Realization Technology for Receiver of Digital Television Terrestrial Broadcasting, this solution is composed of tow parts, one is the research of Terrestrial Digital Television set top box, where detailed solutions of both hardware and software are provided, this is followed by an extending research which realizes the receive of mobile TV in auto. Both transport standards are based on the DMB-TH standard, which is initiated by Tsinghua University and is now the major component of the national standard.Compared with the current solutions of Terrestrial Digital Television set top box and mobile TV in auto, this solution is based on the national standard, and can be used for SDTV receivers. It also has a broad market foreground because of its high quality relative to price.
