Research And Implementation Of AOD System Based On Struts Framework

Video-On-Demand (VOD) system crossing the field of multimedia and network is the outcome of broadband development. System structure, application and basic research of the VOD are becoming focuses that the industrial and research institution pay close attention to at present. Contrasting to the advertisement rotation, Advertisement-On-Demand (AOD) possesses more interactivity, pertinence and flexibility. AOD is more applicable to communication networks than VOD because it lets advertising clients pay the bills, and is prone to meeting demands of enterprises, businesses and customers.On the basis of the research about VOD architecture and its components, much analysis of the resolve scheme has been done. To compare with the distributed and concentrated architecture, and compare with the streaming media technology in RealNetworks, Microsoft, Aple, much research about the VOD system has been done. In the design of the VOD system management software, we carry on the thorough research to the mode of WEB developing.According to the analysis of the project requirement and the actual circumstance, we put forward the VOD system based on the concentrated architecture and applied with the streaming media technology of RealNetworks. B/S/S (Browser/Servlet/Server) architecture and MVC design model are used in VOD system's application software designing. The system was divided to user-subsystem, client-subsystem and manage-subsystem in the process of realization. The database was analyzed and designed by entities and their relations. The code was realized by the MVC mode. At last, the testing about the subsequent of the system is necessary. The system in operation shows that its design scheme is practical and feasible.The key technology of VOD system includes video server, streaming media technology, broadband network, storage, and application software, etc. The video server is the most important component. The streaming media technology is the main type of transport. The application software is the base of the VOD system. This make the system be steady, secure and useful.
