Laboratory is the important part of university, and it is the main site of teaching, learning and scientific researches. The level of construction and management of university laboratory's related to the quality of the students who are cultured in the university. Synthetic analysis and management of the laboratory information, designing the laboratory information management system of Hlbr University based on Web is the requirement of laboratory management and the requirement of improving the quality of teaching and studying.Laboratory information relates to experiment teaching, equipment, teachers, open laboratory, laboratory and so on. Based on the research and analysis of the management mode of University laboratory, the system focuses on the management of experiment plan, experiment task, experiment item, open laboratory, laboratory information, laboratory technicians and lab equipment.In the project the author realized the goals by OOA&D (Object Oriented Analysis and Design),UML(Unified Modeling Language),ASP and based on B/S mode. The background database system is Microsoft ACCESS. The function modules of this system consist of basic information management, experiment teaching management, open laboratory management, experiment equipment management and system maintain. It realizes the maintaining, query and statistics of the lab basic information and experiment teaching information on line. It deals with the equipments' adding, maintaining and disusing. It allows students to order experiment on line.This article in detail introduced opens the laboratory management system management system the design process, the system through computer network realization experiment resources sharing, not the time and the spatial limit, the student may carry on in any networking computer terminal operation and so on experimental appointment, inquiry, completing which the manager can facilitate including the user information, the test plan, the appointment management, the experiment manages, the system announcement as well as the system establishment and so on each management function. Its merit is: Retrieves rapid, the search convenient, the reliability high, the reserves big, the secrecy good, the life long, the cost is low, can enormously enhance the laboratory working efficiency, the breakthrough and the spatial boundary. This Web-net can Make teacher and college relative manage department communicate fast and timely. It is high valuable to make the management system out and improve the level of college information management. The witer designed and make the lab's management out by adopting the constructure of Browser/Server according to the demanding of the Commercial College of Hlbr. This system makes the functions of basic information out ,such as inputting ,emitting and reffering etc, by means of Web-net.The system has following characters:1. Browser/Server construction is used, which has far more effective than traditional Client/Server construction in the designing progress. The method is more convenience, more effective. This method also makes that several people develop a single management information system(MIS) at the same time become true. Thanks to the character of level structure in the B/S construction, a lot of works are simplified in the field of maintenance.2. Active Server Pages(ASP) technique is used to improve the agility of the system and accelerate the speed of developing software, because of the abundance of ASP's function and technical support.3. The whole solution which is from the system level security to the application level security is showed.
