The Study Of Archives User's Requirement And Service Strategy In Networking Environment

The study of user's requirement is an important part of archives research. User is the subject of archives utilization activity, a key factor to realize archives' value, and an impetus to improve archives development. The human-oriented service principle has been accepted by archives field now. User's information requirement is the premise of optimize archives information resource construction; user's satisfaction is the ultimate goal of archives services. Study of user's requirement can offer important guidance to constitute information exploit policy and to construct new service model and system. With the appearance of networking environment, archives' user and their information requirement also have new characteristics and tendency. What characters and emphases of the user's information requirement in networking environment? How can archives answer to the challenge of the networking environment? What kind of service strategy archives should adopt to satisfy the user's information requirement? These are problems must be considered by archives field.This article has five parts.
