The paper gives out the design of pulse-wave measuring system anddiscusses the acquisition, processing and analysis of pulse-wave signalbased on PC. This paper mostly finished the following designs:For supply a more easily basis for the Chinese medicine clinicaldiagnosis, drawing the characteristic value of the pulse signal is veryimportant. Based on the characteristics of Human Pulse, Wavelet Transform(WT) is originally used to process and analysis it. We used adopted throughsetting up threshold value to solve the noise interference of pulse-wavesignal. The zero-crossing of the wavelet transform of the normal personpulse-wave is found out as a fact that its wavelet transform coefficientscorrespond strictly to its time field characteristic. The algorithm ofmeasuring zero-crossings can better draw the characteristic parameters ofthe pulse signal.The overall design of this system which mainly consists of the moduleof pulse sampling, amplifier and transmission, which include thephotoelectrical sensor, EMG filter, main amplification, A/D conversion andUSB interface. We also the module of signal processing, which is based onMATLAB. The waves of pulse indicate that the filtering algorithm isefficient when delete the effect of interference and baseline drift.The intelligent pulse-wave measuring system is developed using themix programming technology based on VB and MATLAB. This systeminterface is friendly, its operation is simple and capacity of the processingdata is strong. It can realize the function of the real time sampling, the showof the wave form, the filtration through wavelet transform, wavelettransform analysis and drawing the characteristic value of the pulse signal.Work described in the dissertation is try of the intelligent measurationof the pulse-wave. Regardless of the hardware design, signal transmission,or on processing the pulse signal, we have adopt more unique methods,which have offered the important way for the fact that the pulse signal ofChinese medicine measuration with directive significance.
