Cardiovascular disease is one of the most dangerous threats to human health. The application of dynamic electrocardiogram (DCG) is a primary method for clinical diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. Therefore, it is of great significance to research high-performance DCG monitor in cardiovascular diagnose and prevent the occurrence of heart sudden death.In this paper, with the actual needs of study and the application, a new style portable DCG monitor system which based on W78E58B microprocessor has been designed. The system consists of four parts: sampling DCG signal part, disposing and analyzing DCG data part, displaying analysis result and DCG wave part, Wireless transmitting DCG data part. The paper introduced the basic principle of the electrocardiogram at the beginning, then studied and developed the software and hardware of the system. The principles and the methods which used in each function module had been introduced in detail.The main innovative spots of this paper are as follows: in order to make up the insufficiency which the present DCG monitor existence the signal gathering function and the analysis function are separated from each other, this system has realized the DCG data real-time analysis; displaying analysis result and dynamic DCG wave timely use LCD with Chinese operation menu provided; the DCG monitor system which is being used now has some shortcomings such as the function is simplex, the analysis reports are late. So this system has achieved the function of wireless transmitting DCG data based on mobile communication network, which effectively prevents the occurrence of sudden dangerous which causes by heart disease; the fuzzy algorithm for classify arrhythmias in real-time has been used in this portable equipment to improved the veracity of diagnosing premature ventricular contractions(PVC) and atrial premature contraction(APC). After improved, the DCG monitor could provide the real-time analysis result and long-distance transmitting DCG data or alarm signal, which could provide cardiovascular disease patient timely, effective service. Having been tested, the system can work continuously, stably and reliably.In this paper, the preliminary study works of developing a new style DCG monitor system with perfect function had been complete. These works will provide a good foundation for next development and practical application.
