As a kind of short-range wireless comminucation technology, Bluetooth has became one of basic wireless technologies to be used in wireless embedded medical equipments with small size and low power-consumption.The thesis designs the wireless monitoring system based on Bluetooth technology using the existing Bluetooth module. Advanced technology of wireless and close quarters transmission is used dynamic ECG telemonitor systems which make the large volumes of data transmission from wire into wireless, and it is real-time, portable. The portable controller which is carried by patients can continuously record physiological parameters of heart, at the same time, it also transmits data to the analysis workstation for data analysis and processing. It has very important clinical value to the protecting patients.In terms of hardware, through the data collecting systems, ECG signal is amplified, filtered, then ECG signal according with frequency is sent to the PIC micro-controller. The processed ECG signal is sent to module of Bluetooth transmission through RS232, In PC, Bluetooth module receive signals real-timely through receiving module, and transmit signals to PC through RS-232.In term of software, to PIC micro-controller control, data collection, A/D convertion programed in assemble language with faster running-speed; To PC control, a display software of ECG data programed in visualization language VC++, and it increases analytic function, which can determine whether the heart is normal through the waveform of ECG.Through development of telemonitor systems, we have made out a model of apparatus.The model can completely achieve data collection,LCD display and wireless communications. At the same time, the software of center monitor have reached anticipative effect at the functions of wireless communications and data analyse.The system adopts wireless testing technology, so saves the complicated connecting-wire. It's very easy for the operator, and saves the use of space.There is a good market prospect for the application. The system is a atemp of Bluetooth technology in medical telemonitor systems. As is known, Bluetooth technology has a good market prospect in application of wireless personal communication at present, but the medical field is rarely applied. Through the testing of this system, speaking volumes for that applying Bluetooth technology to wireless telemonitor is feasible in medical telemonitor systems.
