At present, with the rapid development tendency of aging populationin China and the improvement of living standards, health is concerned bymore and more people. Due to the improvement of the living standard,people’s dietary and life-style have changed, with the hypertensivepatients significantly increased. For the elderly, cardiovasculardisease has become the first big hidden trouble to threaten the healthand life safety. The higher blood pressure brings the cardiovascularsystem greater pressure and burden. Therefore, it has very importantclinical significance to observe blood pressure, heart rate and otherhealth indices timely and effectively for the purpose of early detection,early prevention, and early treatment.The rapid development of communications technology has promoted thedevelopment of telemedicine technology, wireless communicationtechnology has gradually been applied to the construction of medicalequipment. Bluetooth technology as a kind of free and global standardprotocol for short-distance wireless communication has been widely usedin the mobile phone, computer equipment, printers, notebook computer andother electronic equipment.We propose a collection and transmission system of health parametersbased on Bluetooth wireless short distance transmission technology.Connecting Bluetooth technology in health parameters collection andtransmission system to Bluetooth function in intelligent mobile phone andother electronic equipment, it can achieve the wireless data transmission.One hand, it can expand application function of existing communicationdevice; on the other hand it can reduce the cost of hardware on the premiseof ensuring the equipment function.In this paper, the work is mainly divided into four parts: healthparameters collection, data collection control, short-range wirelesscommunication and remote wireless transmission. 1Health parameters collectionHealth parameters measured by Health parameters collection terminalinclude blood pressure and heart rate. Refer to the design of wristelectronic sphygmomanometer, we select PIC16F877chip with tenmulti-channel A/D converters, patch type pressure sensor generally usedin portable blood-pressure mete, a miniature air pump and electromagneticvalve to measure blood pressure and heart rate. The measurement dataoutput through the serial port is sent to the core chip RX pin of controlsystem core chip;2Data collection controlData collection and control use the8051Single Chip MicyocoSIC89C52C2P to program control system’s work and to process and storethe measured data, in addition to the core chip, it is equipped withkeyboard, display, buzzer and other peripherals to achieve human-machineinteraction, an I/O port and the health parameters collection terminalis connected to control the opening and closing;3Short-distance wireless data transmissionMobile phone’s Bluetooth function is used to realize short-distancewireless data transmission. Core chip in Bluetooth transmission moduleis BlueCore4-External which meet Bluetooth2.0+EDR standard, TX and RXpins in Bluetooth transmission module and control system core chip areconnected to realize the data transmission between control chip and otherBluetooth devices. Bluetooth receiving terminal selects thecost-effective intelligent mobile phone with Android operating system;4Remote data communication and managementBluetooth communication software programmed by Java language inmobile phone has the function for measuring data receiving andtransmitting and instruction transmission. A simple service interface forsystem testing is designed using VB in the remote computer. After themeasurement of system parameters and testing analysis for wirelesstransmission function, it is proved that the design has better measurementaccuracy and wireless transmission performance.This design uses the portable design, the system is more convenientto use and carry. Using Bluetooth technology to replace the cabletransmission, the system has better using experience and facilitates subsequent function extensions.
