Web system is a special kind of C/S application system. Along with the rapid development of Internet, Web system is applied more widely and deeply. To guarantee the performance of the Web system under testing is becoming very important now.After studying many commercial and open source Web performance testing tools, summarizing the popular framework and implemention methods of Web performance testing, referencing the Markov Chain Model of Web system in statistical testing, this paper proposes a performance testing framework of Web system based on system modeling and uses the prototype implementation of the framework to make a performance test on a typical Web system.The content of the work described in this paper is as follows: design and implement the reverse engineering module to get the Web navigation map of the Web system under testing,use a UML graphical modeling tool to set system parameters of the system model,design and implement the code generator to generate testcase scripts used by target performance testing tools,and analyse the performance data according to the performance characteristic of the system model.The results of the work described in this paper is as follows: improve the generating method of the testcase script used in Web performance tests, design and implement the reverse engineering module with independent applicability, provide a new solution for improving the current performance testing tool and present practical mindset for analyzing data performance from the system model point of view.
