Design Of Wireless Gateway Base On The Technology Of Zigbee

During long period, There always exist a wireless communication market with low cost, low transmiting rate, short distance, especially in area of industry control,family intelligentized controll and toy produce etc.With development of industry automatic and family intelligentized, there is requirement of a wireless way to connect industy scene montoring equipment and controlling equipment and to connect all kinds of electrical home appliance and internet. Wireless gateway meet this requirement. Wireless gateway another named wireless protocol translator, mutually connecting two different network in Transmission layer, is most complicated mutually connecting equipment. It only use in mutually connection of both different in higher layer protocol. Wireless gateway complete on fuction of wireless network bridge and wireless router by different setted. It will directly connect external network .This paper compare with several wireless communication ways, ZigBee has simple framework and low consume power made using life prolong . In spite of it has low tansmiting rate, ZigBee has very big development potential to montor and control application. therefore, Zigbee was decided as wireless transmiting part in this design.The gateway part of radio use wireless radio chip CC2430 of Chipcon company. This chip integrate 51 MCU, It dose not need reselect another MCU. It both reduce cost and simplify design. TCP/IP protocol chip use RTL8019, It chose specific working state by external pin jumping, in order to fit 51 MCU used.In the face of hardware interface, because of limted of CC2430 interface pin, hardware do not complete read and write in data bus pattern. In this stuation ,it can select another transfer switch chip, it also use software simulation timing of bus data read and wirte. This way influence on transmiting rate, but it can meet requirement in satuation of small data volume transmit and reduce cost.All of this, this gateway has low power consume,small size,design simply, but it can meet requirement of transmit small data volume.
