| The purpose of this article is to make Chinese SME(small/middle enterprises) implement information system(IS) more easier and cost-effective, improve their performance of business activity, facilitate their cooperation ability through the whole supply chain.This project seeks to buildup ASP model B2Bi platform, which offers a related flexible interface for various kinds of clients, that should be suit for Chinese market.By means of this platform, we can enable SME to carry out B2Bi in a seamless,secure, and real-time manner through system-to-system integeration between customers and suppliers.This plateform also support RosettaNet standard which is the main B2Bi standard on today's high-tech industry fields that means SME in China who had entered this platform can easily streamline the business process to MNC(Mulit-National Company ) in an efficiency way both with cost reduciotn on information exchange and high-volume information performance scalability through the entire supply chain. Based upon this solution, SME can participate in the international market and gain a great advantage on the core competive ability, as well accelerating technology progressing and management innovation.Currently, information technology application in Chinese enterprises is stuck in the stage of building up intranet or setting up website.Only less than 30% enterprises completed or just was under construcion the ERP system and only 30% number of enterprises was involved in E-Commerce.Among them, one-third of the enterprises run E-Commerce indepently and other two-third of the enterprises utilize the third-party B2B platform and service. But it should be took into account that most Chinese enterprises,instead of carrying out pratical business transaction on-line, only process E-Commerce in the primary stage which is just something about publishing enterprise's product demand and supply informations on internet. It has a long way to go to conduct a true E-Commerce process. (The most of business action between the long-standing business partners should be an automatic interactive process through the internet, such as publishing supply and demand informations, business consulting, electric document transaction, on-line payment and clearing, logistic and after-service).The technological content of B2Bi platform includes the following two aspects: Data format transforming, integration with business partners' backend system by providing the transaction service for their isomerous data. By using the platform, we can enable SME to process a true B2Bi.This platform supports the various kinds of document format while providing the service of transform between these formats, such as EDI, XML, RosettaNet PIP, Common Text, etc. The platform is compatible with different database, such as Oracle, SQLServer and IBM DB2.Leveraging the above functionalty it provide,this B2Bi platform demonsrated to meet the needs of Chinese SME who want to integrade into internal,as well global supply chain smoothly.Since adopt ASP model, our clients, include customs, MNC and SME, once logged on this B2Bi platform from internet, could implement opertional efficiency, flexibility information exchange they required, even they followed different data format and business process, that paves a way for SMEs to reduce the cost of implementation enterprise informationization dramatically. |
