Recently, most of working surroundings in ships in our country are full of storage-cells and with a bad air, also, with a forbidden of using transmitting cable. In that way the worker has to check the working statement of cells one by one in manual way. Not only waste time and lots of work but also make a plenty of mistakes. Further more, the acid air could cause many illnesses to the worker. So, a new checking system is imperative under this situation.Based on the recent status and the recent technology developing instance in and out of the country, a new automatic system of cell's checking system is designed. This system can collect the parameter of cell's liquid level, also, it can display the data and storage them into the computer, which can largely improve the function and automation level. It has some notably characteristics as listing below:1. Lightening the force of manual work, in order to release working time.2. Gripping the estate of the cell in real time, and deciding how to use them to do more work.3. Elevating the valid time of using the cell, and using the cell more rationally. The MCU AT89C51 was used as its main CPU and combined with display module, A/D converter, expended memory and watch dog technology in order to satisfy the need; a new type of infrared wireless technology was used to transmit the data collected and was given the real circuit design picture. Sensor circuit used AT89C2051 to drive line matrix CCD to actualize the untouched measurement. The whole design has the advantage of less amount of layout lines, strong practicability, little cubage, and high measure precision, and was able to adapt atrocious weather and surroundings.
