The rapid development of information and network technology brings tremendous vigor to education while a new study type called network study plays more and more important role during the processing of studies. As a result, the students can do their jobs with the abundant resources form Internet that time and spaces can hardly limit their activities. However, the current net work study systems have some disadvantages and this dissertation design and implement an adaptive self-determination exercise system to solve the problem.Firstly, this paper introduces the background and meaning of the research work. Then it brings forward the current status of current learning-exercise system and studies the relational theory about self-adaptability and self-determination exercise. Secondly, this paper analyzes the self-determination exercise system's requirement. On basis of it, the paper put forward the design scheme and the module functions. Then this paper explains the design and realization of the base modules and the key modules emphatically. Lastly, the paper gives the characteristic and some disadvantages of the system.Within the system the examination papers can be combined according to the different levels of the students'abilities. And the level will be converted after the examination. So the proof for the paper proposition can always up to date; which shows the system is adaptive. The system can also change some parameters of the questions in database automatically according to the situation of the students'answers. It can be regarded as intelligent. The system provides some references for the teaching innovation and theory researches using modern network technologies in some universities and organizations. .
