Can-bus has a important consequence in the industry control area.As one of the field-bus standards, It is dependable to use it as the substrate-layer network of the industry control area.As a widely used technology in the local area network, It could satisfy the needs of information exchange and communion if take it as the up-layer control network.So a credible and high efficient connection between these two net in the industry control area is necessary.In order to establish a sententious and steady connection between Monitor-Layer and Equipment-Level in the Process Control area, this thesis introduces an implementation of a gateway,which creates the connection of CAN and Ethernet.First it analysis the OSI and TCP/IP models,and gives some research on CAN2.0 protocol and TCP/IP protocol data frames,then builds the net model,and build the hard platform by choose the expert chip,analysis the function of handware interface chip and relative pins,masters the flow of how to develop the evaluating board,and carries out some experiment by using TINI and keilc,finishes the gateway by software programming at last and realize the functions of protocol conversion and both direction communication.The connection between CAN-bus and Ethernet is bulit.It confirms the relation between down-layer local equipment and up-layer supervisory net. Facts have proved that it is high quality with low price and practical strong,its applicative prospect is very widely.
