Applied Research Of Laboratory Information Management System In Refinery

At earlier 80's, first LIMS was constructed .Till 90's, LIMS was widely applied at developed countries. The development time of LIMS in China has been delayed for fifteen years. Now with the establishment of information has made a rapid progress in China, many objective conditions have been possessed for building LIMS. In the meantime all these are the necessary conditions for improving automation and management level of laboratory.With the acceleration of oil products quality upgrade in petrochemical enteprise, the manual management model of the laboratory has been far away from satisfing the requirement of the production management. So it is necessary to select and implement an advanced LIMS.The conception, formation, development tendency and model architecture of LIMS have been presented in this paper. Combined specific laboratory situations of the Cangzhou Refinery, an integrated thinking has been informed. (1) Requirements of the LIMS has been investigated from different aspects and the requirement report has been informed by studying and summarizing. (2) The successful experiences of these enteprises which have implemented LIMS has been investigated and the influence factors of implementing LIMS successfully has been studied. (3) According to the principle of ISO9001 and GB/T15481, the organization stucture has been regulated, the post standard and relation have been revised, the work procedure and resource management program has been standardized and LIMS has been built. (4) The management module of LIMS perfomance assessment has been built.
