A Study Of ASP Platform For Medium And Small-Sized Agricultural Enterprises

If there is no information, there is no modernization of agriculture. Informationizsation is an effective countermeasure to overcome the weak characters of agriculture and promote the industrial position of agriculture. At the present time, the agricultural industry can not afford the equipments of information systems by themselves. Application Service Provider (ASP), the new service mode based on Internet, is the effective way for Medium and Small-sized enterprises to improve their capabilities of innovation and market competition. A new idea and an implement method of network manufacturing information service have also been developed. Based on this background, with the domestic practical production requirements, the ASP service mode and the technology for resources optimization deployment to support ASP system are researched in this paper.The main points of this paper are as following:(1) For finding out roundly about the problems exist in the ASP industry, a survey of the domestic enterprises and the ASP industry is proposed though questionnaire. 110 Medium and Small-sized enterprises and 18 ASP enterprises was investigated in several aspects of the ASP services.(2) According to the results of the survey, six conclusions about the restricts of the ASP development are given, 16 advices of building ASP platform in market orientation, service, charges, publicity and policy are concluded.(3) To locate or identify with precise position of the agricultural ASP platform building, a featured value-added service is proposed. The module will optimize the allocation of agricultural resources. With the discussions to the evaluation methods of available resources and the confirmation to the basic elements of evaluation, the method of AHP was confirmed, an optimizing deployment strategy for agricultural resources was presented in terms of their features and capabilities. The integrative evaluation of manufacturing resources is realized.(4) On the basis of studying the other ASP platform, a new operating model is proposed in this paper, that is manufacture-software-telecom based industry chain style.(5) By analyzing the current situation of informationizsation in YangLing, studying the core technology of building ASP platform, the YL-ASP platform is designed. The paper gives the detailed introduction in the following aspects: security scheme of the system, application contents, operational system, value-added service platform.The studying of the agricultural ASP platform and its application in the Medium and Small-sized enterprises will accelerate the process of agri-informationizsation.
