The Dynamic VLAN Based On The MAC Applied In LAN

With the developmentof network, the network settings are more andmore increasingly, and then the VLAN technology appears. The technology canhamper network broadcasting effectively, control broadcasting storm, improve thesafetyo f network. CISCO company put forward the concept of VLAN in1996, IEEE802.1Q, the standard of VLAN is put in practice by IEEE in 1999.In thelast decade, VLAN was supported broadly, and become the popest technology ofethernet. VLAN is a technology that partitioned device in the LAN logisticly.VLANis only provide a service for LAN user, and is not a new type of LAN.It partitionsLAN user into logistic group, and need't consider the true position of LAN user.Theports of switch should belong to different VLAN, and the port in the same VLANbelong to a broadcast domain.VLAN is usually divided into static VLAN anddynamic VLAN.compare with static VLAN, dynamic VLAN have more flexibilityand security.In this paper, the dynamic VLAN based on the MAC technique ispresented, and the configuration of VMPS based on theCISCO switch is alsointroduced.finally, take the LAN of people's bank of china for example, how to shiftthe LAN from static VLAN to dynamic VLAN is explained.
