Today, no one can doubt the influence made by multi-media computer and network technology to the human's life style, the way of thinking, as well as the unaviodable change of the acquaintance and experience to the world,the society, the human being by all man including the writers and the artists. As a new communication mass media based on mordern science invention, network is changing not only the propagation modes and channels of literarature, but also endowing the web literature with many functional characteristics which differ from the. traditional one.Being a newly literature style which descend the noblest traditional literature to commonage of pasture,however, the academia gave less discussion to the meaning of the existence of network literature and the nuance new quality different from traditional literature. This paper sets out from the relation between media and culture, discusses how the network mould the new quality of online literature with nature of pluralism, open and mutual cooperation; and reveals the subversion by network literature to the old normal in literature. At the same time, the writer analyses the creation characteristics of network original literature attempting to predict the prospect of the development of online literature from the respects such as psychology of the creation, content of the subject, and the technique of expression and style.This dissertation consider that the differences between the network literature and traditional one are incarnated on literature models, such as hypertext, multimedia, interactive writing, the other is the fundamental revolution on the valuable liability. In the 1980's,Chinese network literature started by some non-literature special people, within 20 years, web literature has showed the tremendous vitality and progressing potentiality.This paper consists of four parts.
