Study On Product Platform Development Project Selection And Scheduling

The enterprise competitive edge is that products rapid respond to marketplace. We can adopt product platform tactics to satisfy customer's difference need rapidly. The way of platform design is variety, variant Design, configure Design , standardization Design and modularization design. So there produce many project of product platform. Some projects deal with one kind developing way , some projects deal with several kind of the way developing. The traditional mode to select projects, rank projects and allocate resource that based on enterprise's capacity balance and analysis of risk/income hasn't already met diversified circumstance of the enterprise.Enterprise requires that one kind of new project selection method and scheduling during the development of the product platform. Now that the product platform satisfies each projects resource need, can embody company's strategic objective, and undulating around average budget cost every year high and low within planning scheduling time for 5 years.This paper, based on the study of the combination of project resource allocation and company strategy, summed up project selection in the previously and project preferential step ordering method. The paper may use strategy alliance pattern and weighted standard method to select product platform according to strategy. Finally, the paper adopt one kind of the model to plan these projects, which called packing-multiple-boxes model.The paper combined strategy alliance pattern with weighted standard method to select projects and allocate resource according to the delamination structure of the strategic objective. Then the paper brought forward the packing-multiple-boxes model. The model can plan the projects that the front chose out and restrain down in general resource during the 5 years scheduled time.Taking Vehicle component and part enterprises as an example, in the premise of ascertain of overall strategy,the product platform projects chose out and allocated resource. Finally, with packing-multiple-boxes model, the product platform projects carried out and gave out a conclusion.
