The AS/RS Information Management System Base On RFID

Radio Frequency Identification, as a fast,real-time,accurate information collection and processing technology, has been remarked as one of the most ten important technology in the 21st century. RFID will be widely used in many fields ,such as production,retail,logistics,traffic industry and so on. RFID has gradually become a necessary technology means for manufacturers to improve the management level of their supply chain ,reduce the cost,realize the management informalization,join in the international economy circle and raise the core competition capacities.The paper develops an AS/RS Information Management System based on the Radio Frequency Identification according to the market investigation and study. The focus of the research is to realize the automation of en-warehouse and ex-warehouse. The paper explains the basic theory of the automation storage management based on the Tag. The structure and the function of the system have been designed to realize the auto-control and management. The system has enhanced storage management's automation and efficiency, and it also has reduced human working intension and the error rate of the storage management.Compared with the traditional two-dimensional bar code, the Radio Frequency Identification card has many advantages, such as being rewritten. In the part of automation en-warehouse and ex-warehouse, writing information into the Tag on-line can be carried on according to the actual needs. When the goods are entering the warehouse, the storage spaces assigned to them, the time and the date have been written into the Tag. The Chinese names of the medicine have been added based on the EPC code of the original drugs when designing the data content written into the Tag,The medicine logistics information management system based on the RFID is divided into two parts: the foreground and background management systems. The basic functions are the storage management, inquiry and statistics, the report form, the charge and the payment and so on. Since that manual input has large workload and high error ratio, the intellectualized input function has been designed and realized.
