In today's information society, mobile telephone, PDA(Personal Digital Assistant)and other wireless equipments are more and more popular, and become the importantcommunication facilities in people's day-to-day production activity and life. With thedevelopment of science and technology, the performance of wireless equipment hasbeen improved. Each kind of new mobille value-added service emerges one afteranother, and enrich people's life. As the mobile equipment is carryhome and notregion limit, developing intellectualized application software on mobile phone fullydisplays it's superiority and has the broad market prospect and the huge developmentpotential.According to the above background, the author study and research on the mobileapplication development technology, design and develope a J2ME-based mobilesystem of online perchansing book. The work focus on:(1)The system has the smooth migratory nature on all kinds of operation systembecause the system is developed and implemented on Java plateform and Java is thecross platform development language.(2)Parsing XML data has been implemented on the client side. By simulativeexperiment, the characteristic of popular XML parser was compared andanalyzed. Considering the memory and the performance of pocessor on the client sideare limited, the author used the pull parser, kxml, which takes less memory and runmore quickly than the DOM(Document Object Model)-based parser.(3)The security of the system was strengthened on two aspects, the networkconnection and the transmission content.On the aspect of network connection, theclient side communicated with the server by usesing HTTPS protocol. On the aspectof transmission content, the sensitive data of the communication in the system wasencrypted by AES standard, and the key management was strengthened by using thestrategy of 'one time on key'.The table of contents: the first chapter briefly introduces the present situation andthe trend of development of mobile application development, the second chapterelaborates the related technologe of mobile application system development, includingJ2ME,J2EE, XML and encryption technology, the third chapter and the fourth chapterexpatiate the system design and implement of online perchansing book, and the fifthchapter researches and discusses the mobile application system security.
