The Study Of Network Education System Based On Blog And RSS

Rapid developments of the information technologies such as themulti-media and interact have been changing people's living styles andstudying modes. In recent years, Blog and RSS are widely used invarious kinds of professional and technical domains, they are alsoapplied in informational education in universities. In this thesis, thesetwo technologies are introduced into the education over internet, on thebasis of the construction and application of the educational Blog in aUniversity, and the main topics of the function of Blog and RSS ineducation have been discussed in this thesis.Firstly a generalized introduction of the research background ofBlog and RSS has been given, as well as the contemporary researchwork on Blog and the usage of RSS in technical education. As to theproblems existed in network education nowadays, an approach has beenpromoted to construct the platform of network education with the helpof Blog and RSS. The content and the meaning of the research have alsobeen clarified. Based on the above, functions and research models ofnetwork education, combining Blog and RSS teaching application as astarting point, the aggregation system developed on the basis of Blogand RSS technology have been explored while individual informationpushing service has got its place. With the help of collaboration study,the scientific management of the learning process, as well as themethods and outline of multi-assessment of learning efficiency and therepresentations of individual knowledge are discussed. Thirdly, thesystematic technical framework has been fulfilled in this thesis. AndOBLOG4 is chosen as the main programming tool. To meet thedemands of network teaching, the Blog platform has been reconstructed,while network digest plug_in, integration forum and online examinationsystem have been developed, as well as the design and implementationof the aggregation and pushing system of learning content based on RSS.The network education system based on these technologies has beenestablished. And more, this system has been applied in a real system ofcomputer-based lecturing, the result shows this approach is effective. Finally, the achievements and limitedness of this research have beendiscussed in the thesis.
