Nowadays, due to the problem of information share insufficiency and the redundancy of data back-up in telecom operation support system, Telecom Management Forum provides a Shared Information Model for the integration between systems using the way of information share. Thanks to many people's attention, the data model of telecom enterprise has become a field of research. This thesis applies the theory of ontology to represent telecom enterprise knowledge more standardized. The core content of Ontology-based telecom data models includes specific distill, definition, expression, organization and estimation. It builds the Ontology-information system according to the content of the database of telecom enterprise, which can be accepted and understood widely. The information in the model can be reused and shared by different people.The thesis treats Ontology as the mail of research, introduces the theory of Ontology and the current state of telecom, and then brings forward the viewpoint of the combination of Ontology and data model. It first analyzes the representation, formalization and construction of Ontology, and then generally analyzes how to cut in data model, that is applying ontology to data model through accessorial designing E-R model, and to improve and advance the theoretic of system modeling through the potential function of Ontology. Applying Ontology to system modeling leads to more effectiveness of modeling. The combination is not only the conformance of the development of modeling theoretic, but also the satisfaction of social practice, which is both theoretical and practical. Finally, this thesis validates the feasibility of the method and approach by the prototype system.A core ontology-database is the mail feature of this system. This thesis studies the technology and implement of the storage of ontology. It is not only a study on the semi-automatic ontology modeling and storage, but also a new discussion on telecom importing ontology to enterprises.
