As the foundation of the national economy, the manufacturing industry embodies the comprehensive national strength. Along with the formation and of the globalization market and the development of network technique, the networked manufacturing mode emerges with the tide of the times. The essence of networked manufacuturing is achieving the various cooperating activities crossing the enterprise boundary effectively by providing enterprise-to-enterprise services such as product cooperating design, cooperating manufacturing,supply chain management, customer relation management, and the information share etc. The networked manufacturing involves the whole product life cycle, and its data source distributes in various applied systems. Difference exists in the structure of the data source in the different application system, which formats the heterogeneous data. The thesis systematically studies the ontology-based semantic description method of the heterogeneous data for networked manufacturing, semantics-based schema matching of heterogeneous data and the method of turning XML data to relational data and develops a corresponding information system, which achieves successful application in the enterprise.In the first chapter, the paper elaborates the evolvement of the manufacturing industry, the theories and pratices of the networked manufacturing and the current condition of the heterogeneous data in networked manufacturing, analyzes the data management of forklift enterprise in networked manufacturing, inquiries into the characteristics and application of the XML data and the description of the heterogeneous data, puts forward the ontology-based description method for heterogeneous data.In the second chapter, the paper elaborates the function of ontology in semantic WEB, compares several ontology description languages, choose the OWL language to descripe business data, inquiries into the establishment method of the domain ontology, puts forward the reflection method from ontolgy to the XML Schema, and the method to descripe XML Schema diagram, and gives the forklift product case in the end.In the third chapter, the paper analyzes the current condition of the heterogeous data in forklift enterprise, presents semantics-based schema matching method for heterogeneous XML data, inquiries into the...
