With the rapid development of Internet technology, data of information field has increased exponentially, how to storage and manage them efficiently so that they can be shared more conveniently is of great importance. As a popular and hot spot of research at home and abroad, ontology has a clear concept of hierarchy architecture and supports the function of logical reasoning. Ontology can express semantic information, and it can also be effectively used for storage and management. In the study of storage and management based on ontology, how to solve the problem of mapping transformation between ontology and relational database and how to storage ontology information efficiently are two of urgent problems in this field. This paper launches the research according to these two problems, the primary work contents and achievements are as follows:(1)The paper analyzes ontology and relational database model. By the similarities and differences between these two models, it creates an abstract model of mapping transformation. Based on this model, it designs the one mapping methods to accomplish the transformation of ontology and relational database model. Finally, it extracts the ontology files from the relational database model through the experiment, and the experiment shows that the mapping methods are correct.(2) After researching the current horizontal pattern, vertical pattern and decomposition pattern detailedly, this paper tests the storage results of these patterns through experiment, it points out the respective advantages and disadvantages according to results of analysis, and summarizes the general principles of ontology storage pattern. Based on the principles, a new storage pattern has been presented. In the process of new pattern design, in order to classify ontology information reasonably, the storage of class, attribute, instance, relation, constraint and the other ontology information were designed. The performance tests were contrasted by new designed pattern through experiment. The final results prove that new designed storage pattern has more advantages in query and extensibility performance than other pattern.(3)According to new designed storage pattern.The platform of ontology storage and query was created based on MyEclipse. You can choose corresponding storage pattern and instance documents of ontology query through the platform.
