The Research And Implementation Of Data Crousel And Object Carousel In Data Broadcasting Of DVB

Data broadcasting is a kind of technology that can transmit text, image, video and audio to STB at a very high speed. The interactive applications in digital TV system are all based on data broadcasting. The flourish of digital TV programs and the development of compressing and transmitting technologies accelerate the development of cabled data broadcasting. Data broadcasting service providers can get information from Internet then broadcast them to users through data broadcasting channels.This paper mainly focused on the researches of data broadcasting protocols in DVB software. First, the frame modules and standard organizations of digital TV system are presented in this paper. Next, an introduction of the basic concepts of data broadcasting is made. The third section deeply analyses the protocols of data broadcasting, including MPEG-2, DVB-PSI, DVB-SI, DSM-CC and so on. Successively, this paper researches the principle and completes the implementation of both OC(Object Carousel) and DC(Data Carousel) at the terminal end of digital TV.
