The Implementation Of RLC&MAC Protocol In TD-SCDMA System

Since TD-SCDMA is accepted as one of the three kinds of standards of 3G system, it has been considered independent communication technology innovation and has important strategy significance to our country's development. Now there are more and more companies at home and abroad joined competition of TD-SCDMA terminals, thus the development of TD-SCDMA terminal test set becomes more and more important and urgent.The auther is lucky to participate in National "863"project—"TD-SCDMA Terminal Synthesis Test Set". The author take part in the development of requirement, high level design, detail design, coding, debugging and testing of RLC and MAC of the TD-SCDMA Terminal Synthesis Test Set. The main contents of the thesis are as follows:Introduce three kinds of standards of 3G system and the development history of TD-SCDMA system in our country, then analysis current situation and market prospect of terminal test set.Present the components of TD-SCDMA Terminal Synthesis Test Set, list the function of the protocol stack, then analyse the RLC&MAC according to protocol in details.Discuss the procedure of main thread, then list the interfaces between MAC layer and other layers, at last introduce the implementation of resource management and data transport of MAC layer.Analyse the designing of RLC main thread,then list the interfaces between RLC layer and other layers, then introduces the implementation procedure of three mode in RLC layer, at last describe the timer mechanism under AM mode.Give a general conclusion according to the experience of the project, summarize some defaults and needed improving of project.
