With the rapid development of mobile communication technology, number of mobile subscribers is increasing quickly, the needs of high-speed data services and multimedia services are growing everyday that promotes the emergence of the third generation mobile communication. As one kind of 3G standards, TD-SCDMA invented by China has entered the application phase and the large-scale network construction has been under way, thus the major equipment manufacturers and operators are investing heavily in new equipment for research and developmentTD-SCDMA repeater is an important part of the mobile communication system. Not only increases the network covery ability, extends the base station, it also increases the telephone traffic load of the idle base station and optimize the net work. When the TD-SCDMA repeater normally working it is need to find the switching point of the up-line and down line time slot after DDC.This item is from the funded project by Technology Agency of Zhejiang province, which named the development of TD-SCDMA repeater equipment based on software radio architecture. It is necessary to have a TD-SCDMA source to provide input signal when the reperter system is in the design, testing and verification process, so the signal source is basic equipment for development of TD-SCDMA repeater. Now, the signal generators sold in the market are expensive and have some limitations, so it has important practical significance and application value to creat a low-cost and easy-to-use source. In this text, based the analysis of TD-SCDMA signal structure, we design the TD-SCDMA signal soure by the way of using the the software to control hardware.and add the wireless channel module and noise module to simulate the transmission environment that enhance the usefulness of the signal source .In the next place, we design down-conversion module,select the key devices, set the hardware system based on the experimental board, finally get the TD-SCDMA RF signal and base-band signal. All the results are tested by the spectrum analyzer and reach specification of 3GPP and meet the need of practical application.
