| Along with TD-SCDMA officially being used in commerce, numerous products of the terminal suppliers enter into the market, and then it's gradually formed the terminal industry chain. However, there are many options we need to choose because of the complexity in the 3GPP protocols, therefore the conformance testing will provide forceful guarantee to the intercommunication between the different products. How the conformance testing develops will be the most important element that constrains the industrialization and commercialization of TD-SCDMA, so that it is very useful and important to carry out the research of terminal conformance testing.The construction of TD-SCDMA network will be a step-by-step procedure which will gradually replace GSM network. In a quite long time, TD-SCDMA and GSM network will coexist, and this involves the interoperability between TD-SCDMA and the GSM. Therefore we need to develop the corresponding test system to carry on the test under the TD-SCDMA /GSM double model terminal, to safeguard TD-SCDMA and the GSM interoperability normal operation. And the development of the test cases is the core of the test system development.This author of this paper participates in the design and development of the TD-SCDMA protocol conformance test system and realizes the test cases of TD-SCDMA/GSM inter-operation by using TTCN language. This paper introduces the design of the TD-SCDMA protocol conformance test system and how to realize TD-SCDMA/GSM inter-operation test cases based on this system. The development of TD-SCDMA/GSM inter-operation test case realizes the unanimous identification of the TD-SCDMA /GSM double model terminal and guarantee the seamless and various services for the customers in the preliminary stage of the TD-SCDMA development and that makes TD-SCDMA possess stranger vitality and vigor. |
