The Design And Implementation Of Graphical Business Process Designer Based On JPDL

In the time of knowledge economy, China's enterprises and public institutions are in the middle of this rapid change of business globalization and flation. It has become a major issue to be dealt with what we are to do to help China's enterprises and public institutions adapt to such rapid change of the domestic and international market quickly, so that they can cooperate actively with their VIP customers and partners, which are a node of the value chain, as well as how to manage the existing business processes. Recently, business process management (BPM) has become the central area of enterprises'information technology application, and it even affects the development of core competitiveness of an enterprise. Because of the lack of graphical tools, the designer of business process is encountering the inconvenience in the business process designing and defining. In consideration of graphical business process designer has such advantages as usablilty, intuition and flexibility, this paper mainly studies the direction of its graphical development.This paper mainly deals with technology of graphical development, such as GMF and GEF which are based on ECLIPSE, and JBPM process definition language (JPDL), and has finally, on the ECLIPSE development platform, designed and implemented plug-in of the JPDL-based graphical business process designer. This paper has developed a designer which indicates the advanced features of the graphical tools and makes the enterprise in the changeable and competitive environment easily adjust the business process according to the actual requirements. This designer can solve the curing problems in traditional business process designing, enabling designate personnel to complete designing without considering specific coding. Meanwhile, it provides a better way for the communication between the business process designers and the service developers, so that the cost of communication can be reduced, working efficiency raised, thus enhancing enterprises'core competitiveness.
