The acceleration sensor has been widely applied to such domain as industry, military, astronautics and civil. This article elaborates on the realization of acceleration sensor test from the point of physical principle of acceleration sensor testing acceleration, and thus obtains the conclusion that using the approach of producing centripetal acceleration by revolving with the uniform speed can solve the production of the acceleration needed in the test. That is, fixing the acceleration sensor in the disc revolving with uniform speed to test the output characteristic under various condition of accelerating. A set of complete acceleration sensor performance test system is designed.First, a data-collecting sub-system that is suit to the acceleration sensor performance test has been developed. The data acquisition subsystem uses the PIC16F877A MCU as the major controlling chip to collect data, which receives the mandate from supreme position machine through radio frequency chip nRF2401 and explains it and thus carries out the acquisition of corresponding data, and gathers the data to transmit to the supreme position machine through radio frequency chip nRF2401.The acquisition of three kinds of acceleration sensor performance data of JSD101, JSD103 and JSD201 has been realized.Next, connecting the terminal data with computer by connector RS-232 and adopting the method of transfer the RS-232 serial port communication to the radio frequency communication, the data exchange among the radio frequency acquisition subsystem and the computer string mouth is undergoing. The function of transferring data communication of the RF/RS-232 has been realized.Finally, the supreme position machine used LabVIEW to develop powerful data processing software with the characteristics of user-friendliness, elegance and easy contact surface. The Software, through computer string mouth to respectively control data gathering and the disk-revolving driven by motor, has realized the test and measure of the output feature of three kinds of acceleration sensors under different acceleration number. This software can, according to analysis of data collected, obtains output feature curve of acceleration sensor, and it can decide the qualification of the tested sensor in line with different standards.This article has introduced the solution of the system, the software and hardware design of the sample-collecting subsystem, the system correspondence protocol, the LabVIEW programming method, the system of the data collection, the analysis and processing, the demonstration of feature curve as well as the method of the statement production in detail.
