Nowadays forest diseases and insect pests are serious in our country and the pesticide application is inefficient as the main prevention and control means. It is less than 35% of total pesticide that can take effect because of the low-efficient application, the out-dated plant protection machineries, and the extensive application technology, which bring about the pesticide waste, environment pollution, pesticide residue and pesticide resistance, but also the life safety threatening of people and animals. Therefore, it is impendent to study the precision pesticide application technology based on the direct injection system for pesticide sprayer, which can decrease the pesticide cost of forest diseases and insect prevention and control, improve the efficiency of pesticide application, and protect ecological environment and the life safety and health of pesticide application operators.Firstly, the hardware configuration of measurement system was confirmed based on the analysis of direct injection system for pesticide sprayer, and the microcontroller and peripheral function units were designed. It can realize the measurement of related parameters of the direct injection system for pesticide spraying based on the design of hardware and software. The controlling unit of the measurement system used the C8051F021 as the central processing unit, which takes charge of real-time parameters acquisition and adjustment, such as pressure, flow rate, torque and rotation speed of the direct injection system. The modularization and opening design method was used to design the hardware and software of the controlling unit. In the portion of hardware circuit, the standardization and modularization chips were used; and in the portion of software, the multi-task design method was used, which improved the agility and the transplant of the software effectively.Secondly, the virtual instrumentation system was designed by LabVIEW in the personal computer system, and the data transfer and communication with the controlling unit was realized through the RS232. The personal computer system can set up the quantities of pesticide and water according to different pesticide application requirements. In addition, the real-time data, such as flow rate, pressure and so on, can be processed, displayed and managed which acquired by the controlling unit. The good interactive interface of the system is simple, visual and convenient to use.The research achievement of the thesis supplies with the theoretical and practical foundation in the realizing pesticide direct injection for designing plant protection machineries and improving the automation level of pesticide application technology in our country.
