Luo yin is an important writer with talent in writing. He was born in the rural area and never curried favour with those in power, so excluded and depressed in the former part of his life. Finally, he ended his life with the assistance of Qianliao as a follower. Depression in career, poverty in living and fierce social reality made him wit and sharp in writing to uncover social defects and to show his conception. However, Luo yin hadn't been focused on at that time or since then with the great influence of Confucian, but the value of his works started to be seen with time following. In view of these facts, my thesis studied his writing"OnOpposite Sides"well-roundedly to fill in the unfilled field."On Opposite Sides"consists of ten parts,"The Rich, The Poor","The Strong, The Weak"and so on. Each passage is smooth in writing and sharp in showing writer's view those government strategies helpful to get rid of social faults should concentrate on centralising general people and regarding the wise man, philosophical points should base on the opposite sides. His writing formed smoothly and tightly, so it is easy to understand and penetrate. With the help of the book, we could almost recognize him as the line connected the former with the latter in Chinese history .
