Research And Realization Of Network Performance Management System Based On NetFlow Protocol

According to the importance and urgence of network management, the paper analyzes the current status of it and narrates carefully the design and realization of network performance management system based on NetFlow protocol.In view of the fact that newwork performance management system product flaw in the present market, we proposed a set suits that present the need of the network performance management system from research technique, system structure drawing, overall construction three aspects.On the precondition of network management-the collecting of data package, the paper presents many meanings of information collecting based on "flow " , such as SNMP RMON/PROBE Package Sniffers Flow(NetFlow sFlow). Focusing on presenting NetFlow protocol, including its' principle data format the fields of application and implementing meanings. At the same time ,comparing with other meanings, which is better in the course of Network management application.The principal of network management is established on analyzing the original data flow, achieving network performance inspection network virus alarm network traffic accounting etc. Let route send directly data package to collector during the course of traditionally network management software developing, in order to avoiding of ascertainment of the content and number of data package, we develop an application program that can realize the really routers' function ,at the same time we take a lot of measures for forcing the application program achieving the router function, for example: normal distribution scattering the source IP and destination IP of data package average distribution scattering source port of data package weight distribution scattering higher protocol(destination port and protocol )of data package and IP camouflaging based on Libpcap.The system continually receives data package which be sent by the router ,then stores them after parsing data packages based on protocol classes(NetFlow sFlow SNMP),then we will classifying and gathering the original data packages for achieving the function of network performance measurement virus alarm. Including measurement deployment network current performance measurement network history performance measurement network device fault measurement network link layer fault measurement DOS attack active virus scanning .The paper finally narrates the whole system realization , including the processing mode of magnanimous data stream based on Netflow protocol and the testing of network performance management system based on NetFlow protocol.
